Hyper-V, VMware and Proxmox — on-prem and hybrid virtualisation platforms.
We build and migrate virtualisation platforms tailored to your ecosystem. HA clusters, storage, networking, cloud integration — from assessment to production. After Broadcom's licensing changes we help you choose the optimal path forward.
When to choose which hypervisor?
There is no single best platform — there is the best platform for your context. We help you choose and deploy the right one.
HYPER-V
Microsoft ecosystemFor companies in the Microsoft ecosystem. Integration with Entra ID and Azure — hybrid via Azure Arc, Azure Stack HCI, Azure Site Recovery. Licensed within Windows Server, no additional hypervisor costs.
- Windows Server + Failover Clustering
- Storage Spaces Direct (S2D)
- Azure Arc / Azure Stack HCI
- System Center Virtual Machine Manager
VMWARE
Enterprise & complianceEnterprise with existing VMware environments, contractual requirements or compliance needs. Proven stack: vSAN, NSX, vRealize. Strong third-party vendor certification.
- ESXi + vCenter Server
- vSAN (hyper-converged storage)
- NSX (software-defined networking)
- VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
PROXMOX
Open-source, lower TCOOpen-source alternative with lower TCO. Ideal for new deployments without legacy systems, companies seeking to reduce licensing costs or avoid vendor lock-in. Ceph as native distributed storage.
- Proxmox VE (KVM + LXC)
- Ceph (distributed storage)
- Software-defined networking (OVS)
- No vendor lock-in, full GPL
What we do
NEW DEPLOYMENT
Design and deployment of a virtualisation cluster from scratch. Hardware selection, hypervisor installation, networking, storage, HA configuration.
VMWARE MIGRATION
Migration from VMware to Hyper-V or Proxmox. VM inventory, dependency mapping, phased migration plan, zero-disruption cutover.
CLUSTER EXPANSION
Adding nodes to an existing cluster. Storage expansion, networking reconfiguration, live migration of workloads between nodes.
MAINTENANCE
Subscription-based cluster maintenance: monitoring, patching, backup verification, incident response. SLA-backed operations.
Frequently asked questions about virtualisation
It depends on your contract, workload complexity and Microsoft/Linux ecosystem usage. We do a cost-benefit analysis comparing staying on VMware, migrating to Hyper-V (Microsoft shop) or to Proxmox (open-source). There is no universal answer — contact us and we will do the math for your case.
For small environments (10–30 VMs): 2–4 weeks. For larger ones (50–200 VMs): 2–3 months. The longest part is dependency mapping and testing, not the actual migration. We use live migration techniques to minimise downtime.
Yes. Proxmox Backup Server (PBS) provides incremental backups, deduplication and encryption. It integrates natively with Proxmox VE. For additional protection we integrate Veeam Backup & Replication as a secondary layer.
A Proxmox or Hyper-V cluster deployment starts from €3,000 (3-node HA cluster, existing hardware). VMware migrations are priced individually based on VM count and complexity. See full pricing →
