Secure migration to Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure.
Strategic cloud migration with certified GCP and Azure partners. Audit, target architecture, production migration and optimization — from the first workload to full cloud transformation.
6 strategies for cloud migration
Every workload requires an individual approach. The 6R framework is an industry standard for classifying migration strategies — we use it to choose the optimal path for each element of your infrastructure.
REHOST
Lift & ShiftMoving applications to the cloud without code changes. The fastest migration path — ideal for simple workloads where speed, not optimization, is the priority.
REPLATFORM
Lift & OptimizeMoving with minor optimizations — e.g. switching the database to a managed service (Cloud SQL, Azure SQL) without rewriting the application. A good balance of speed and benefits.
REFACTOR
Re-architectRedesigning applications into cloud-native architecture — containers, microservices, serverless. The greatest effort, but the greatest long-term return on investment.
REPURCHASE
Replace with SaaSReplacing an on-premise solution with a ready SaaS — e.g. your own mail server → Google Workspace, on-prem CRM → Salesforce. Eliminates infrastructure maintenance.
RETAIN
Keep on-premA conscious decision to keep the workload on-premise — due to regulations, latency, costs or technical dependencies. Not everything has to go to the cloud.
RETIRE
DecommissionShutting down systems that are no longer needed. A migration audit often reveals unnecessary applications and servers — shutting them down reduces costs and shrinks the attack surface.
We migrate to two leading cloud platforms
Google Cloud Platform
We are an official Google Cloud partner. Certified engineers with Professional Cloud Architect and Professional DevOps Engineer credentials. GCP is our first choice for Kubernetes workloads (GKE), data analytics (BigQuery) and cloud-native architectures.
- Official Google Cloud partnership
- Certified GCP engineers
- GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL
- FinOps and GCP cost optimization
Microsoft Azure
Microsoft partner with competencies in the Azure ecosystem. We specialize in environments integrated with Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Windows Server. Azure is the optimal choice for companies deeply embedded in the Microsoft stack.
- Microsoft partnership
- Certified Azure engineers
- AKS, Azure SQL, Azure DevOps, Entra ID
- Integration with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
Typical migration scenarios
Every migration project is different, but the scenarios below are the ones we deliver most often.
Web application migration to GCP / Azure
Moving web applications to the cloud — Cloud Run, App Engine, Azure App Service, containers on GKE/AKS. Configuring load balancing, SSL, CDN and autoscaling.
Database migration
Migration to managed databases — Cloud SQL, AlloyDB, Azure SQL, Azure Database for PostgreSQL. Minimizing downtime, validating data integrity, optimizing performance.
On-prem infrastructure migration
Moving virtual machines, storage and networking to the cloud. Assessment, target architecture, wave-based migration with a rollback plan. VPC, firewall rules, IAM from day 1.
Hybrid migration
Part of the infrastructure stays on-prem, part migrates to the cloud. Configuration of VPN / Interconnect, unified networking, consistent management via Terraform and monitoring of both environments.
How the migration process works
DISCOVERY & ASSESSMENT
Audit of existing infrastructure — inventory of servers, applications, databases, dependencies. Workload map with prioritization and migration readiness assessment.
MIGRATION STRATEGY
Choice of 6R approach per workload. Target architecture in GCP or Azure. Landing zone, networking, IAM, security baseline. Migration plan with timeline.
PROOF OF CONCEPT
Pilot migration — the first workload moved to the cloud as a PoC. Validation of architectural assumptions, performance tests, plan adjustments.
PRODUCTION MIGRATION
Wave-based migration with minimal downtime. Each wave: move, test, validate, cutover. Rollback plan for every wave. Communication with stakeholders.
OPTIMIZATION & SUPPORT
Cost optimization, rightsizing, monitoring and alerting. Knowledge transfer to your team. Optionally: ongoing maintenance under retainer with guaranteed SLA.

| Web application migration | 1,900 – 5,900 EUR |
| On-prem infrastructure migration | 3,500 – 11,500 EUR |
| Hybrid migration | from 4,700 EUR |
Frequently asked questions about cloud migration
It depends on scale and complexity. Migrating a single web application takes 2–4 weeks. Migrating an entire on-prem infrastructure (dozens of servers, databases, networking) takes 3–6 months. We always start with an audit, which gives a realistic timeline. We deliver a Proof of Concept on the first workload within 2–3 weeks.
We keep downtime to an absolute minimum. Most migrations run in a blue-green model or with background data replication. Cutover (traffic switch) usually takes minutes, not hours. For databases we use continuous replication tools (Database Migration Service, Azure DMS), which sync data in real time. A rollback plan is prepared for every migration wave.
Google Cloud is our recommended first choice for Kubernetes workloads (GKE), data analytics (BigQuery), cloud-native architectures and companies that aren't heavily tied to the Microsoft ecosystem. Azure works better in environments strongly integrated with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Windows Server and Azure DevOps. As certified partners of both platforms, we will advise on the optimal choice or multi-cloud strategy based on an audit of your infrastructure.
Yes, this is a very common scenario. Hybrid migration means that part of the workloads stay on-prem (e.g. due to regulations or latency) and part migrate to the cloud. We configure VPN / Cloud Interconnect, unified networking and consistent infrastructure management through Terraform. The 6R framework helps determine which workloads to move, which to keep and which to retire.
After migration we implement FinOps — continuous cost optimization. This includes: instance rightsizing (matching resources to actual usage), committed use discounts / reservations, spot/preemptible VMs where possible, auto-scaling, scheduling (shutting down dev/staging at night), labeling and budgets with alerts. Typical savings: 20–40% within the first quarter after optimization.
